Advocacy & Victim Service Partners
Supporting Victim Survivors Beyond the Exam Room
Healing does not end when a forensic examination is complete.
Victim survivors often need ongoing support, advocacy, resources, and services long after an initial healthcare encounter. TXFNE partners with domestic violence programs, sexual assault centers, human trafficking organizations, shelters, victim service providers, and advocacy organizations throughout Texas to help ensure victim survivors have access to the support they need throughout their healing journey.
Together, we help create a coordinated, trauma-informed continuum of care that supports victim survivors during and after a crisis.
How We Work Together
TXFNE collaborates with advocacy and victim service organizations to help ensure victim survivors have access to:
• Crisis intervention services
• Safety planning
• Emergency shelter
• Counseling and mental health services
• Victim advocacy
• Legal resources
• Victim compensation assistance
• Community support programs
By working together, we help ensure victim survivors receive comprehensive support that addresses both immediate needs and long-term recovery.
Why It Matters
Victim survivors often face complex challenges that extend beyond healthcare needs alone.
Access to advocacy, counseling, shelter, legal support, case management, and community resources can play a critical role in promoting safety, healing, and long-term wellbeing.
Through strong collaboration with advocacy and victim service organizations, TXFNE helps connect victim survivors with resources and support systems designed to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
A Shared Commitment to Survivor-Centered Care
TXFNE and our advocacy partners work together to ensure victim survivors have access to coordinated, trauma-informed support throughout their healing journey.
Strengthening the Continuum of Care
No single organization can meet every need of a victim survivor. By working together, healthcare providers, advocates, counselors, shelters, and community organizations help create coordinated responses that reduce barriers to care and improve access to critical services.
Survivor-Centered Collaboration
TXFNE and our advocacy partners share a commitment to treating every victim survivor with compassion, dignity, respect, and empathy. Together, we strive to create environments where individuals feel supported, informed, and empowered.
Building Access Across Texas
Advocacy organizations and victim service providers play a vital role in helping victim survivors access safety, support, resources, and hope. Every partnership strengthens the network of care available to communities throughout Texas.
