Clinical Preceptorships:

Type of preceptorship offered: Texas Forensic Nurse Examiners™ is a community based forensic nursing program locating in Houston, Texas and covers 13 surrounding counties with 6 clinic locations and over 55 hospital partners. We provide services for patients of all ages who are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation, human trafficking, elder abuse and child abuse. 2020 was our first full year in operation and we saw over a thousand victims of violence. TXFNE™ offers flexible scheduling and is a great learning opportunity for the novice or experienced forensic nurse.

 Requirements: Must be an RN or higher who has already completed an IAFN Approved, 40-hour didactic adult/adolescent and/or pediatric/adolescent course; must hold a valid nursing license. For a full list of requirements and expectations, please email brookley@txfne.com.
